2. Owner must surrender the original RC, along with cut out of the vehicle chassis number and a letter from the recycling company to the RTO.
3. Affidavit by the Vehicle owner must be deposited with the application for scrap & de-registration. Affidavit must mention that the vehicle is free from all sort of lien / mortgage / charge / theft case / insurance claims / third party claims or any pending case in any court.
4. RTO verifies the documents and processes the same after getting due diligence reports for the concerned vehicle from NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau) and Traffic police.
5. If case the report is satisfactory, the vehicle is de-registered from the record of the RTO.
